On this private 9-day tour you travel in your own vehicle with an English-speaking driver, at your own pace and with stops wherever you like. You sleep in charming riads and kasbahs and spend 3 nights in a Berber camp among the dunes.

- Overnight in Ouarzazate.
2Day 2Ouarzazate – Agdz – Draa Valley – Zagora
- Cross the Anti-Atlas over the Tinififft pass.
- The Draa Valley, the longest palm grove in Morocco.
- Kasbahs of Tamnougalt and Agdz.
- Overnight in Zagora.
3Day 3Zagora – Tamegroute – M'hamid – Erg Chegaga
- Koranic library and green pottery of Tamegroute.
- M'hamid, where the road ends.
- 4×4 drive on desert tracks to the great dunes of Erg Chegaga.
- Sunset on the dunes and night in a desert camp.
4Day 4Erg Chegaga – Lake Iriki – Foum Zguid – Ouarzazate
- Sunrise at Erg Chegaga.
- 4×4 crossing of the dry Lake Iriki.
- Foum Zguid and back across the Anti-Atlas.
- Overnight in Ouarzazate.
5Day 5Ouarzazate – Skoura – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges
- Road of the Thousand Kasbahs through the Skoura palm grove.
- Stop in Kelaat M'Gouna, capital of roses, and its rose-water cooperative.
- Drive up into the Dades Gorges and their rock formations.
- Walk in the valley among Berber villages.
- Overnight in the Dades Valley.
6Day 6Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
- Walk through the Todra Gorges, with rock walls 300 metres high.
- Tinghir and its large palm grove.
- Drive on through Tinejdad and Erfoud, the fossil town.
- Camel ride at sunset through the Erg Chebbi dunes to the camp.
- Berber dinner, drums around the fire and a night in a desert tent.
7Day 7Merzouga: a full day in the Erg Chebbi desert
- Sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at the camp.
- 4×4 excursion around Erg Chebbi.
- Visit a nomad family and share tea in their tent.
- Gnawa music in Khamlia village and a stop at Dayet Srji lake.
- Sunset on the dunes and a second night in the desert.
8Day 8Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – N'Kob – Agdz
- Sunrise on the dunes and camel ride back.
- Rissani, the ancient caravan town of Sijilmassa.
- Alnif, land of fossils, and the Jbel Saghro range.
- N'Kob, the village of 45 kasbahs.
- Overnight in Agdz, in the Draa Valley.
9Day 9Agdz – Taznakht – Taliouine – Taroudant – Agadir
- Drive back across the Anti-Atlas.
- Taznakht carpets and Taliouine saffron.
- Walk in Taroudant.
- Arrival in Agadir.

The tour starts in Agadir with pick-up at your accommodation, the airport or the port, and ends in Agadir. We can also finish in another city.

Yes, you travel only with your own group, in a private vehicle with your driver.
Can the itinerary be changed?
Absolutely. We can add or remove days, change the order of the stages or choose other hotels.
Is the camel ride included?
Yes, the camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes to the camp is included – one camel per person.
What is the desert camp like?
You can choose a standard camp or a luxury camp with private bathroom. Both include dinner, breakfast and music around the fire.
